# Google Calendar

> Sync customer meetings, enable Meeting Prep, and create calendar events through Quivly agents and actions.

Connect Google Calendar to bring customer meetings into [Communications](/customer-views/communications-tab#meetings) and enable [Meeting Prep](/customer-views/communications-tab#meeting-prep). The connection also lets [agents](/product/agents) and [actions](/product/actions) create events as you, with attendees picked from the customer's contacts.

## Connecting

Each teammate connects their own account:

1. Go to **Data → Integrations → Google Calendar**.
2. Click **Connect** to open Google sign-in.
3. Approve the required Calendar permissions.

The connection is per user. Each teammate connects the calendar they want to use.

## Customer meetings

Quivly syncs events from your **primary calendar**, covering a rolling window of 30 days in the past and 60 days ahead. This is not an unlimited historical import or a sync of every shared calendar.

Events are linked to customers using attendee contact emails and customer domains. Linked events appear in the customer's Communications tab when you have access to them. Imported events are visible to the connection owner by default; linking an event to a customer does not automatically share it with every teammate.

Sync runs automatically. Use **Sync** to request a refresh of your connection, then check **Activity → Your sync health** for progress or errors. The tool activity log is separate from calendar sync health.

## Meeting Prep

Open **Configure** to enable Meeting Prep, choose how far ahead to prepare, select optional Skills, and set up Slack delivery. These preparation settings apply across your organization.

## Where it's used

* **Actions:** Calendar event steps open a composer with date, time, duration, and attendees from the customer's contacts.
* **Agents:** App Action steps can create events as the CSM owner, a specific teammate, or the agent's publisher.

    Yes. Quivly imports events from your primary calendar within the sync window. Check the connected account, event date, customer matching, visibility, and sync health if a meeting is missing from Communications.

    Use **More options → Reconnect Google Calendar** and approve the required Calendar permissions. Then check your sync health to confirm events are being imported.
