# Give Quivly shared knowledge with Brain

Add company guidance and customer documents, then inspect the source evidence Quivly uses.

Brain gives your team a place for reusable company and customer knowledge. Open **Configuration → Brain** to save guidance or upload readable text, Markdown, and PDF documents. Choose whether a source applies to the company or a particular customer.

Browse extracted facts, open the supporting passages, and compare or restore saved source versions. This context can inform Ask Quivly, notebooks, Plays, and other AI features within their permitted scope. Supported Slack content can be captured deliberately; Brain does not automatically turn all Slack history into shared knowledge.

Start with the [Brain guide](https://docs.quivly.ai/product/brain.md).
